once again, long time no update.

so, we've been having issues at the new apartment and i haven't even been there a full 3 months yet. we had a couple in the household that's relationship was falling apart and it was being taken out upon the whole household. the female, desi, had the lease in her name. she told us that she was moving back into her parents house, so we thought all the problems that stemed around her would be gone. then on the day she was supposed to be leaving, she told us that she had only been planning on moving away for a month and bitched at us for assuming that moving out meant just that, moving out. and for the past couple weeks, she's been bringing another friend of ours home most the time and we think that they are fucking. well, the night we told her that we were moving out, we came home from work and found her drunk. she had had about 10 too many at that point. she bitched at us from the second we walked in the door, then hit me in the face, then ran out of the house, came back in and kept yelling. eventually, two of us went outside to get away from it and the one left inside informed us to call the paramedics because she was puking up foam (a sign of alcohol poisoning). she kept yelling that she was going to kill herself and such and we all resisted looking at her and telling her to fucking do it already. so, the paramedics, the county police, and the k-9 unit all show up for some reason and she refused treatment.

the next day she woke up, realizing she made an ass of herself and realizing the situation she was in, and told us she'd sign the apartment over to us and she'd leave.

now, she's left but she's still trying to start shit because all of her belongings aren't out of the house yet.

and now, i have to figure out what to do with another roommate that's been unemployed for 2 months now, not paying rent, and eating all the food we bring home. i found out that we can write him a 5 day pay rent or quit eviction notice, and i think we're going to sit him down and discuss it with him. only this time, we won't let his guilttrip play a role in our decision. cuz the other roommate, ryan, is shipping for the military in about a month and i'll have the house and most the bills to myself. i can't afford to keep jay, the unemployeed roommate, up by myself. i can barely afford to keep myself up.

jay wouldn't bother me if i saw him try to get a job or something. but instead, he spends everyday with his friends. and then comes home and turns all the space heaters in every room as high as they'll go whether he's in the room or not. everynight when i get off work, he doesn't ask how was my day or anything. the first and only thing he asks is if i brought food home. we have been nice to him because he's a nice caring guy but kindness can only go so far. and i'm going broke and sometimes hungry due to my kindness. he claims he has nowhere else to go but at this point, i could care less. he doesn't help clean, he doesn't help keep the bills down, and he doesn't listen. i'm fed up.

ok, enough venting on my part. i'm about to have to go home and face the bullshit before i have to head off to work.

i actually don't remember. it'd probably be a toss up between Alice Cooper, Nirvana, White Zombie, and Marilyn Manson. it all involved a step-father i had while growing up. through his days he had acquired a huge cd collection and would allow me to listen to anything and everything i wanted to out of it. i didn't recieve any criticism from my mother until friends started lending me eminem albums. my father always hated whatever music i listened to if it was old rock (mainly Skynyrd, his favorite band). but anyways, my step-father stepped into my life around the "molding" time and reflected on me in alot of ways. he tried to make up for what was missing with my relationship between my mother and father and we did it mostly by sitting around and listening to music together. he'd tell me these colorful stories of how he used to do acid and then go see concerts (his favorite being Jane's Addiction). one of the greatest things i believe him and i ever did together was the weekend we rented Woodstock '99. ALL THREE DAYS! i was fucking 12. i think if it wasn't for him, i wouldn't be interested in music like i am today. too bad his relationship with my mother had to sour around 2002/2003 and noone has been able to find anyway of contacting him since.

    The Great Destroyer (Live)

    - i like the pause
    - the ending electronics solo thingy is different.
    - the video screen is my best friend.
    - i bet this looks 666% better in person.

    Me, I'm Not (Live)

    - a little different (maybe it's just the looping sample over the intro)
    - once again, screens are great
    - all the green reminds me of Type O

    newsbreak:

-Greenville Solicitor told me (over the phone) that the charges were dropped.
    - Lawyer yelled at me for calling too much cuz she was never in. (Calling to see if she was in. I was doing it every hour.)
    - I can get PTI for my charges if my lawyer discusses it with the solicitor and the solicitor accepts me. Only trick is, I'd have to go to Greenwood to do PTI because they handle Laurens' shit. Fucked up ain't it?!? I can't afford gas to go to work, what makes them think i can afford gas to drive an hour to PTI and an hour home?
    - The AC in my car quit working.
    - Concert on Saturday. I barely know my lyrics. Thing is, I don't really care.
    - Toni's moving tomorrow. Fuck.

That's all. Now for your regularly scheduled broadcasting.

Anne (cuz i think you're the only other one paying attention) - YEAR ZERO UPDATE

someone has got their hands on the actual cd and booklet. there are pictures on echoeing the sound. part of the lyrics you posted were wrong (the only ones i notice right now are in Capital G where he says "I traded in my god for this one"). All the official lyrics are on NINwiki.com now thanks to the bastard with the booklet. the booklet doesn't have any brilliant artwork in it, just mostly lyrics. The digi-pak it comes in though looks great.

that's all i found on my NIN hunt this morning.

now, miranda should be here any minute.

who wants to go to Ozzfest '07 for free?!?
no bullshit. Ozzy and Sharon have released a press release announcing that Ozzfest '07 is going to be free. The 2 closest cities to us that they're playing are Atlanta and Charlotte. I'm going to keep checking the page everyday to figure out when they're having you get your tickets (because you have to go through special links). If you don't believe me, go to Ozzfest.com.

the line-up has yet to be released but still, WHO WANTS TO GO SEE OZZFEST FOR FREE WITH ME?!?

we recieved progress reports today. i'm making a 94 in Earh Science, 99 in US History, and 94 in English IV. i showed it to grandma and she said that she wanted to kick my ass for not doing it two years ago. hell, i wanna kick my own ass for not buckling down and doing it two years ago. then i start to think about it, if i would've done it two years ago i might've never been able to learn what i've learned about growing up and society. same thing with my felony charges. yes, i wish i didn't have them but i've learned from them more than i would've learned without them. i know that i'm maturing mentally and i think that most of my fuck ups in the past are helping me through it and making me a better person in the end. "everything that happens to me is a direct reaction of everything i do." i finally learned the true meaning of that in the last week.

"His thoughts like a hundred moths
    Trapped in a lampshade
    Somewhere within
    Their wings banging and burning
    On through endless nights
Forever awake he lies shaking and starving
Praying for someone to turn off the light"

Happy Rape Of A Country Day...

if you have an hour to spare today before midnight, i've got something that i found interesting and that you might as well find interesting. it's about how much we have fucked the indians out of lands among other things. it's an hour long documentary type movie. it's so well put together that it kept my attention through the whole thing and i couldn't look away. go to http://www.thenaica.org/, press Enter the NAICA, and then click on The Canary Effect under the topic "The Word". The movie only runs for today because it's Thanksgiving but it is definately worth a watch.

    my new games.
in the past two days i've gotten 6 new games for my X-Box:
Stubbs The Xombie: Rebel Without A Pulse
    Tony Hawk Underground 2
    Max Payne 2
    BMX XXX
    Enter The Matrix
    MTV's Celebrity Deathmatch

my favorite so far is Stubbs. only because it's easy and fun. plus i love zombies and i get to be one. and as an added bonus, there's a co-op mode. so, now i have to wait for Sid to come over and play it with me.

I've beaten Enter The Matrix and BMX XXX when i used to have a gamecube so i basically got them for nastalgia (sp?) reasons.

i played the original Max Payne and liked it so i think i may like Max Payne 2 when i finally get around to playing it. plus, it's got bullet time and i like bullet time.

i'm having the same problems with THUG 2 that i had with the original one: some of the missions aren't as easy as they should be. i'm thinking of just sticking to the Proskater series cuz i could actually enjoy playing it.

Celebrity Deathmatch...ummm...sucks. The commentators keep saying the same shit over and over and there's only about 4 moves you can do so it gets old fast. tomorrow, i'll see how well the multiplayer is.

yesterday was a good day (even though i had a shitload of homework). i got all my homework done and lindsay offered to take me to the mall. sid showed up at my house while lindsay was on her way to pick me up so we chatted and bullshitted. she got here and we had a fun ride to the mall. at the mall i bought the Jon Stewart book America and the acoustic Sublime CD. Lindsay bought me Everclear's "Songs From An American Movie, Volume 2: Good Time For A Bad Attitude" and Tommy Lee's "Never A Dull Moment".

i also called the bank and had part of the overdraft shit delt with. great to wake up and check my balance and find out i've got $320 in the bank as off this morning.

The Scream Awards came on last night too. i missed the last half of them cuz i dozed off but the parts that i saw were fucking great.
